It is relatively easy to get clean and sober in a good drug rehab or alcohol treatment program such as what you will find at Bayside Marin, however, what is not so easy is remaining clean and sober after completion. With this in mind, we at Bayside Marin believe that a strong substance abuse aftercare plan, a sober support network and a relapse prevention plan are needed prior to leaving treatment. This is an essential step in recovery and must be in place if the best possible chance at life long success is going to be achieved.

Bayside Marin goes above and beyond to ensure that every client has an in-depth substance abuse aftercare plan that meets their specific needs. While many drug treatment programs provide referrals to outpatient care, therapists and sober living environments, we at Bayside Marin do that and much more!

Substance Abuse Aftercare Plan Monthly Phone Call

In continuing care at Bayside Marin, clients may be contacted monthly by staff to check-in on their progress and to provide compassionate support and encouragement.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Continuing Care Recovery Renewal Program

Every client leaves treatment with a written substance abuse aftercare plan that contains concrete, specific and measurable recovery activities. Clients are are encouraged to return to Bayside Marin for a two-day continuing care recovery renewal program to get feedback on their substance abuse aftercare recovery plan from Bayside staff and current residents. They will be able to share what part of their aftercare plan has been successful and what part needs modification, and then develop a new three-month substance abuse aftercare plan. Clients will return and repeat this process every three months in year one, every six months in year two and once in year three.

Alumni Continuing Care Support Group

Clients are invited to attend a weekly alumni support group which is facilitated by Bayside’s staff at our outpatient facility. We will connect you with a similar group if you reside outside the local area.

In addition to these supports, Bayside Marin will always provide phone and email support for clients who have successfully completed their alcohol rehab or drug rehab program. At no time will you be without a clear relapse prevention and substance abuse aftercare plan.
