Outpatient Rehabilitation Treatment for Substance Abuse
Bayside Marin’s outpatient rehabilitation treatment programs for substance abuse are designed to provide clients with the rehabilitation treatment, education and support needed to overcome an addiction to drugs or alcohol, while also allowing them to continue to participate fully in their lives. To make our intensive outpatient rehab treatment as flexible as possible – Bayside offers both morning and evening intensive outpatient rehab programs.
Bayside’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Treatment is Ideal for Clients Who:
- Are in the early stages of their addiction
- Do not require inpatient treatment or are transitioning from a residential treatment program
- Have employment, family or school commitments
- Have stabilized in their substance addiction recovery practices and are seeking ongoing continuing care

Bayside’s Outpatient Rehab Includes
- Master’s and Doctoral Level Therapists and Counselors
- Individualized Treatment Planning
- Individual Counseling Session
- Group Therapy
- Education/Awareness Classes
- Family Program Weekends
- Weekly Group Acupuncture
- Fully Equipped Gym (including a therapeutic pool, sauna and steam room)
- Referral to Self-Help Support Groups (AA/NA, Life Ring, SMART Recovery)
- Lifelong Continuing Care (including weekly alumni groups, ongoing alumni activities such as guest speakers and picnics, and access to our Alumni Services Coordinator for support and referrals)
- Morning and Evening Outpatient Treatment Programs
Overview of Morning Outpatient Rehab Treatment Programs
- 7½ weeks in length – 30 group sessions and 8 individual sessions
- Individual Counseling Session: one per week
- Yoga or Qigong (optional): 9:15 to 10:15 AM (Yoga M, Th, F; Qigong T, W)
- Group Acupuncture (optional): 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM Thursdays
- Morning Group (required): 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 4 group sessions per week (M, T, Th, F)
- Gym, Pool, Steam Room and Sauna Access: 12:30 PM to 3:15 PM daily (M — F)
- Family Program: 1st and 3rd weekend each month
Overview of Evening Outpatient Rehab Treatment Programs
- 10 weeks in length – 30 group sessions and 10 individual sessions
- Individual Counseling Session: one per week
- Yoga or Qigong (optional): 9:15 to 10:15 AM (Yoga M, Th, F; Qigong T, W)
- Group Acupuncture (optional): 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM Thursdays
- Evening Group (required): 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM; 3 group sessions per week (M, W, Th)
- Gym, Pool, Steam Room and Sauna Access: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM daily (M — F)
- Family Program: 1st and 3rd weekend each month
